ULFA(I) has finally released the abducted ONGC employee Ritul Saikia somewhere in Mon district, Nagaland.
On Friday, Paresh Baruah, Commander-in-Chief of ULFA(I) said that, they will release Ritul Saikia within three to four days.
This development comes after Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma appealed ULFA(I) to release the abducted seeing the situation of wife and his little child. And then responding his appeal, ULFA Chief Baruah said that the CM made a responsible appeal and they will release Ritul Saikia very soon.
On Tuesday, Pareshaan Baruah had confirmed that Ritul Saikia was in ULFA(I) custody and was safe.
Ritul Saikia was abducted by the banned organization on April 21 along with two colleagues from a right in Sivsagar. The other two were released three days later.
