Two terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces at Aloochi Bagh in Srinagar on Monday.

The terrorists are members of the Resistant Front (TRF), an offshoot of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). As per the police statement, the terrorists include the top commander of LeT and the self-claimed chief of The Resistant Front Abbas Sheikh, and his deputy Saqib Manzoor.
From the spot of encounter, arms and ammunition were also recovered by Police.
The terrorists were killed in an encounter when a special police team was raiding the location. Despite the opportunity of surrendering, the terrorists started firing and in retaliation by the team both were neutralised, police said.
