The ongoing spike in Covid positive cases will start to dcrease from Mid july. In a mathematical study done by IIT Kanpur, led by Professor Maninder Agarwal also claimes that a third wave of Covid-19 will start in India by October.
They also reported that states like Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Gujarat and West Bengal are presently at peak and will see decline in cases soon . Whereas Maharastra has already witnessed the peak of cases.
On being asked whether Kumbh Mela-Election rallies and Covid cases has any connection, IIT Kanpur stated that mostly Delhi, Maharastra facing the Covid situation badly , but there was no Election rally , no Kumbh Mela was held there.
