“Now there is no shortage of ICU and Oxygen beds in Delhi, ” says Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.
Addressing a press conference today he informed that the government has increased the number of oxygen beds in Delhi recently. “Yesterday we started 500 new ICU beds near GTB hospital,” he added.

He also stated that at present they are vaccinating around one lakh 25 thousand people every day and they are aiming at 3 lakh vaccination per day.
Mr. Kejriwal called for ramping up the production of vaccines by deploying various companies which have expertise in manufacturing vaccines.

Covid positive cases in Delhi have gone down to 13,000 on Monday from 25,000 in the last week. And positivity rate has dropped from 36 percent to 19 percent.
Currently, there are more than 85,000 active cases in the national capital.
Delhi is under complete lockdown till 5 am, May 17.
