Two new phones in the Realme 8 series, the Realme 8s and Realme 8i are going to be launched in India on 9 September.
MediaTek chipsets will be used in both smartphones. The Realme 8s will be the first smartphone in the world to use the Dimensity 810 processor, while the Realme 8i will use the Helio G96 processor.
The Realme 8s 5G will include Dynamic RAM Expansion (DRE), which essentially leverages some of the internal storage to boost RAM, resulting in improved performance. The Realme 8i, on the other hand, will have a 120Hz smooth display as well as dynamic RAM expansion technologies.
Though the company has not disclosed much about the specifications of the phones, according to media reports both the phones may look similar to the existing Realme 8-series phones in terms of design. Along with the LED flashlight, the camera module on the back may include four sensors. Both phones are expected to have curved edges on the back, with low bezels on three sides and punch-hole displays on the front.
