The all India Congress Committee (AICC) has appointed Pradyut Bordoloi and Rakibul Hussain as observers for the upcoming Assembly election in Manipur.

Bordoloi is a senior Congress leader and MP from Nagaon Lok Sabha Constituency in Assam while Hussain is the deputy leader of opposition in the Assam Assembly.
AICC national general secretary KC Venugopal on Sunday confirmed the appointment by a release.
The election will be held in the state for 60 Assembly seats in March-April next year.
