North Eastern state Manipur bagged the 3rd position in Food Safety and Standards Authority of India’s (FSSAI) State Food Safety Index (SFSI) for small states for the year 2020-2021. Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh brings it to Facebook and shared a video where the state government’s effort to implement food safety measures in the state reflected.
Manipur bagged the 3rd position while another Northeastern state Meghalaya secured the second position in the same category and Goa ranks the first position.
Gujrat topped with 72 points in the large state category while Kerela and Tamilnadu bagged the second and third positions respectively.
Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya released the data recently.
