The Uttar Pradesh Police on Friday issued a fresh summon to Ashish Mishra, Son of Ajay Mishra, Union Minister of State for Home. The fresh notice served to Ashish Mishra warned that if he fails to appear before the police on Saturday by 11 am.
Earlier a notice was issued to him over the Lakhimpur Kheri Incident where four protesting farmers were run over by an SUV car where Ashish Mishra was allegedly sitting. A viral video came out which appeared to show how Minister’s SUV run over the protesting farmers. After tough criticism, a case was registered and Ashish Mishra was summoned to appear before the police on Friday by 10 am. But he denied the summoned.
Allegations are made that Ashish Mishra may be fled to Nepal. Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav on Friday said that if it is true, the central government should intervene and get him arrested from Nepal. The Samyukta Kisan Mocha also demands Mishra’s arrest at the earliest.
Union Minister Ajay Mishra Teni on the other hand said that Ashish Mishra could not report the police due to health reasons on Friday but he will appear before Police on Saturday,
