A movie ‘Thalaivii’ based on Tamilnadu former chief minister J Jayalalithaa is released in theaters today. Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut is portraying J. Jayalalithaa for the movie.
She remarks her experience portraying the titular role as of late Ex-CM of Tamilnadu. She says – “I used to have a very primitive approach towards politicians. I thought they are the luckiest people. But after I did the research while doing the film, I realized that this isn’t an easy profession! You got to work on ground level and also you have to be popular with people. You have to show results and you have to interact with the senior bureaucrats.”
Although the movie is released in theaters today audiences are waiting to watch it on the OTT platform since the movie is releasing soon on Netflix and Amazon.
This movie is Kangana’s second biopic movie after the film ‘ Manikarnika’ was released in 2019.
