Indore, the most populous district of Madhya Pradesh becomes the first district in the country to administer the first dose of covid vaccine to all the eligible citizens of the district.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Tuesday Congratulates the residents of Indore for the achievement and thanks all concerned for administering first those to all.
“Indore has once again made a new record. Amongst the districts with over 10 lakh population, Indore has become the first district in the country to vaccinate its entire eligible population with the first dose of the vaccine on 31st August,” Chouhan said.
By Tuesday evening, 28,08,212 people have been vaccinated with first those in Indore district against its targeted eligible population of 28,07,559. The district has a total population of 42.41 lakhs.
