The Indian squad for ICC Men’s T20 World Cup have been announced on Wednesday. BCCI secretary Jay Shah informed that Former Indian Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been appointed as the mentor of the team for the upcoming T20 World Cup.

The team members are Virat Kohli (C), Rohit Sharma (VC), KL Rahul, Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant, Ishan Kishan, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Rahul Chahar, Ravichandran Ashwin, Axar Patel, Varun Chakravarthy, Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohd Shami. Shreyas Iyer, Shardul Thakur and Deepak Chahar are listed as standby players.
The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup will start on October 17. The matches will take place in UAE and Oman. Team India will face Pakistan in the first match on October 24
