Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh Spoke to Indian hockey team player Nilakanta Sharma who is from CM Biren Singh’s constituency in Manipur. Nilakanta Sharma was one of the key players who played for the Indian hockey team and won the Bronze after defeating Germany by 5-4 in the bronze medal match at the Tokyo Olympic 2020.
In a video shared by N Biren Singh on Twitter, He assured a cash reward of Rs 75 lakh for Nilakanta Sharma after winning a medal for the country. Also, CM asked the Olympian, Nilakanto Sharma, what he wanted from the government. Currently, Nilakanto Sharma is a senior ticket collector in Indian Railways. In a reply to CM’s question, Nilakanto Sharma wants a govt job related to sports in Manipur.
