India’s first woman gold medalist in Paralympics Avani Lekhara wins her second medal at the ongoing Tokyo Paralympic Games. On Friday she creates another history by winning a Bronze medal and becoming India’s first women athlete to win two medals at a single edition of the Paralympic Games.
Avani won a bronze medal today in the women’s 50m Rifle Three Positions (SH1) event in a tough battle with Ukraine’s Iryna Schetnic.
During the morning session on Friday, 18 years old Praveen Kumar also makes India proud by winning silver in Men’s High Jump T64 event with the best jump of 2.07 m.
