Amidst the ongoing Covid-19 situation along with other sectors, Education is such one sector which has been facing many difficulties. Whether it is arranging online classes or Examinations. Many universities across the country postponed or cancelled their exam for the final year student.
While some are trying to arrange exams in online mode, IIT Goa finds an interesting and innovative way to conduct the exam in a quirky way.
In their Analog Circuits question paper, the faculty asked students to prepare the questions for themselves and answer the same. The instructions section on the paper asked them to prepare 60 marks’ questions from the lecture materials provided during the classes.

The rationale behind the idea was to determine the calibre of the students and their understanding of the subject they read.
As the students will be setting up their own papers, the Goa IIT lecturers believe that setting a question will require a complete understanding of the course and its content. If the student has not gone through the course properly, they won’t be able to prepare any question, leave alone answer it and to add more that, professors can even detect plagiarism if the students go for the same questions.
While many netizens support this unique approach and call it a smart move, others are here just for laughs.
