Former Meghalaya Chief Minister and leader of opposition in the Meghalaya Assembly, Mukul Sangma along with other 13 Congress MLAs may join Trinamool Congress (TMC) soon.
According to several media reports, the senior leader of Congress from the Northeastern state is unhappy with the Congress leadership over several decisions in appointing members in the state Congress Committee.
Sangma is likely to make the official announcement soon after holding talks with TMC leaders in Meghalaya. Earlier he met TMC national General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee and other leaders in Kolkata.
