To curb the Covid situation, Nagaland Government decided to go for a complete lockdown in the state for one week, from May 14 to May 21.
Till now, Nagaland saw a total death of 150 due to Covid. Nagaland had about 16,283 COVID-19 cases following the detection of 133 fresh cases on Monday.
The government has set up a Health Helpline number , 1800-345-0019 for the people to speak to a doctor or a counsellor, for any vaccine related enquiry.
After a spike in positive cases in Kohima and Dimapur, the Naga People’s Front had stated that no option left but to declare complete lockdown in the state to save people’s lives.
“This government seems to have learnt nothing from the first wave, which we all faced last year. The excuse that other developed nations and the Indian states are also finding it difficult to contain this virus should no longer be parroted by the government as a result of its own inefficiency,” the party said.
