The minister was appreciated by CM Rio for promoting tea plantations in the Tizit area and initiatives and observations for the tea plantation.

Rio calls for the promotion of tea plantations in the state as all other government-owned industries have failed in the state.

He instructed the agriculture department to take steps for the tea farmers and the youth. After that, the youth could be able to plant tea gardens and they don’t have to go for works in other states or countries.

Mon deputy commissioner Thavaseelan, government officials, tea growers, and others chaired the whole programme.
