Redmi, Xiaomi’s sub-brand, has confirmed that the Redmi 10 Prime with outstanding hardware will be released on September 3 in India. Xiaomi’s Redmi brand teased the introduction of its new Redmi smartphone in India, which is set to roll out at 12:30 PM on September 3.
The Redmi 10 Prime includes a “superstar camera” as one of the phone’s features. Also includes a big camera sensor, hole-punch display, and the presence of a MediaTek chipset under the hood, according to Mashable. According to the website, the phone will at least come in a Blue color finish. According to predictions, the Redmi 10 Prime and Redmi 10 will have similar specifications.
The Redmi 10 smartphone features a 6.5-inch full-HD plus AdaptiveSync display with a 90Hz refresh rate for the worldwide market. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 SoC, which can support up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The smartphone has a quad back camera arrangement, with a 50MP primary shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and two 2MP sensors for macro photography and depth sensing. The front camera on the phone is 8 megapixels. The Redmi 10 has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W charging. The Redmi Note 10 starts at INR 13,499 with 4GB RAM with a 64GB memory kit, following a recent price increase. According to Mashable India, the Redmi 10 Prime could cost around INR 10,000.
In addition to mi.com and offline outlets, the company has confirmed that the devices would be available on Amazon.in. However, it is unclear whether Xiaomi’s Redmi would debut all of its phone’s variants in India. (ANI)
