Tokyo Olympics: Indian women’s hockey team losses bronze medal match to Great Britain 

The match between India and Great Britain of women’s hockey was held for Bronze Medal at Oi Hockey Stadium- North Pitch on Friday. India lost their match 3-4 at the hand of Great Britain and was unable to reach the bronze medal at the ongoing “Tokyo Olympics”.

For India, Gurjit Kaur(25th & 26 minutes) scored two penalty corners while Vandana Katariya(29th minutes) scored another goal.

For Great Britain, Balson G (31th), Pearne-Webb H(35th), Robertson S (10th), and Rayer ES (13th) scored for Great Britain in the bronze medal match on Friday.

Indian women’s hockey team finished their campaign fourth at the Tokyo Olympics 2020.
