India Men’s hockey team lost 5-2 with Belgium in the 1st semi-final match of ongoing Tokyo Olympics on Tuesday and confirms bronze medal for India.
In the starting minute of the match, Belgium took an early advantage with a goal from LoickLuypaert.
However, India came back with two goals scored by Harmanpreet Singh and Mandeep Singh and gained a 2-1 lead at the match.
But In the 2nd quarter, Belgium got the equalizing goal, and till the end, Belgium Scored another three goals in the last 15 minutes of the match and defeated India 5-2 in the semi- Final.
India will get the Bronze with the loser of the second semi-final game to be held today between Australia and Germany.
On the other hand, In the final match of Men’s Hockey of Olympics Belgium will face the winner of the second semi-final between Australia and Germany on Thursday.
