Three terrorists affiliated with terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) were killed during an encounter between terrorists and the security forces at Jammu and Kashmir’s Awantipora on Saturday.
Among the terrorists killed by security forces, one is identified as Wakeel Shah who was involved in the gunning down of BJP leader Rakesh Pandita on June 2, Kashmir IGP Vijay Kumar said.
During the encounter, two AK-47 rifles, one SLR, and warlike stores have been recovered from the terrorists killed.
On Friday also, two terrorists were killed by security forces at Jammu and Kashmir’s Awantipora.
